Board of Governors

All the powers of the IIC are vested in its Board of Governors. Each Governor and Alternate Governor of the Inter-American Development Bank appointed by a member country of the Bank which is also a member of the IIC, is an ex-officio Governor or Alternate Governor, respectively, of the IIC, unless otherwise indicated by the respective country. The Board of Governors selects one of the Governors to serve as its Chairman. It holds annual meetings in conjunction with annual meetings of the Board of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank and may hold other meetings called by the Board of Executive Directors. The Board of Governors may delegate all its powers to the Board of Executive Directors with the exception of those set out in Article IV, Section 2 (c), of the Agreement Establishing the Inter-American Investment Corporation and any other powers specified in said Agreement.
