Hipotecaria Su Casita S.A.de C.V.
The proposed project consists of a medium-term loan of up to US$20,000,000 to Hipotecaria Su Casita S.A.de C.V. The loan proceeds will be used for the origination and/or acquisition of residential mortgages that finance principally loans to individuals for their purchase and construction of low to middle income housing.
Environmental Classification and Issues:
This is a Category III project according to the IIC's environmental and labor review procedure because specific impacts may result that can be avoided or mitigated by adhering to generally recognized performance standards, guidelines, or design criteria. All mortgage loans will be subject to an environmental review and must comply with national environmental and labor laws, regulations and standards as well as IIC policies. To enable the borrower to better understand the IIC's requirements, one of its employees shall be required to attend IIC's financial intermediary environmental training seminar.
