IIC Signs US$10 Million Loan Agreement With Terminales Río De La Plata S.A.


Buenos Aires, Argentina- On March 30, 2007, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and Terminales Río de la Plata S.A. signed a US$10 million loan agreement.

The loan is for expanding the main container terminal at the Port of Buenos Aires.

Roberto Francisco Negro, Chairman of the Board, and Jorge Albino Sánchez, Alternate Director, signed for Terminales Río de la Plata S.A. Mr. Jacques Rogozinski, General Manager, signed for the Inter-American Investment Corporation.

As of December 31, 2006, the IIC's outstanding loan and equity investment portfolio in Argentina totaled US$185,7 million and disbursements stood at US$135 million.

The Inter-American Investment Corporation is a multilateral financial institution that is part of the Inter-American Development Bank Group.
