IIC Signs Agreement With Desler S.A. Of Argentina


Argentine industrial and medical service companies will be benefitted by IIC’s support to Desler S.A. PARIS, FRANCE - On the occasion of the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), the IIC signed an agreement for a $6.64 million loan to Desler S.A. of Argentina.

The signing ceremony took place at Le Palais des Congrès, Paris, and the agreement was signed by Mr. John C. Rahming, General Manager of the IIC, and Mr. Michael J. Miller, President, EQ Argentina Inc. and Director of Desler S. A. Also present was Mr. Jacky Mugraby, Director and President of Desler S.A. Argentina.

Through IIC’s financing, Desler will provide Argentine industrial customers access to viable and economically feasible waste management systems. IIC’s financing will also help Argentine industry reduce its overall operating costs and meet international environmental standards by improving the environmental performance of Argentine industrial and medical service companies.

In addition, the project will create local jobs, bring needed revenue to host municipalities, transfer new technology, and help Argentine industry control its increasing amounts of industrial waste.
