IIC And Arrinsa Leasing S.A. De C.V. Sign A US$10 Million Loan Agreement


Washington, D.C. On May 12, 2006, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and Arrinsa Leasing S.A. de C.V. of El Salvador signed a US$10 million loan agreement.

The purpose of the loan is to support the development of a financial tool that will enable SMEs to reduce their working capital needs and manage the obsolescence risk of their fixed assets.

Ms. Claudia Quiñónez de Hirlemann, Chair of the Board of Directors and Mr. Luis Liberman Ginsburg, Director of the Board signed for Arrinsa Leasing S.A. de C.V.; Mr. Jacques Rogozinski, General Manager, signed for the Inter-American Investment Corporation.

The Inter-American Investment Corporation is a multilateral financial institution that is part of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. It provides financing (in the form of equity investments, loans, guarantees, and other instruments) and advisory services to private enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean.
