IIC And Agroindustrias San Jacinto, S.A.A. Sign Financial Consulting Services Agreement


Guatemala City, Guatemala – On March 19, 2007, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and Agroindustrias San Jacinto, S.A.A. (AISJ) signed a financial consulting services agreement during the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the IIC.

The purpose of the agreement is to support Agroindustrias San Jacinto, S.A.A. in mobilizing resources from international institutions that may be interested in participating in a possible B loan from the IIC.

Mr. Carlos Alberto Andrade Villar, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Francisco Javier Picasso Candamo, Director and Principal Shareholder, signed for AISJ. Mr. Jacques Rogozinski, General Manager, signed for the Inter-American Investment Corporation.

The Inter-American Investment Corporation is a multilateral financial institution that is part of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. It provides financing (in the form of equity investments, loans, guarantees, and other instruments) and advisory services to private enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean.
