To facilitate implementation of the Program and to generate local know-how and experience, GREENPYME works with different organizations and institutions in the region.

Support of Strategic Donors

For a number of years, the IIC has worked with donors to tackle the economic, social, and environmental problems facing Latin America and the Caribbean. The support of donors is key for the development of GREENPYME, since it greatly facilitates the removal and reduction of some of the main barriers to achieving energy efficiency. These partnerships allow donors to have local impact and reach their goals in the areas of SME sustainable development and climate change mitigation. Through the strategic partnership between the IIC and the donors, the GREENPYME program has expanded to more than a dozen of the region’s countries. In many cases, new rounds of the program were launched based on the good results achieved in these countries. Financial resources for the development of these activities have been provided by:
