Previously the plant which now houses a tannery ITALPIEL was called "La Patrona", and it was exclusively used for producing shoe soles made from cow hide. In 1997, the current partners acquired the shares of La Patrona tannery. A new factory construction is underway through the company's own financing. The purpose of this IIC loan would be to equip the plant with the necessary machinery. The loan is for $ 400,000, and US$ 31.211 will be financed with company funds.
