Scope Objective: 
The proposed project consists of a US$6 million investment in ProBa, L.P., Central American Banking Growth Fund, a regional private equity fund that will target the rapidly growing financial sector in Central America and Panama. The investee companies must satisfy the eligibility criteria established by the IIC. The Fund has a target capitalization of US$60 million.
Environmental Review: 
Environmental Classification and Issues: This project is in accordance with IIC environmental and labor review procedures. Each investee will be subject to an environmental, labor, and safety review. Each must also comply with national environmental and labor laws, regulations and standards in addition to IIC policies. In order to become familiar with IIC requirements and to be able to recognize potential environmental issues, the Sponsor will be required to attend an environmental training course given by the IIC.
