Nicaragua. The bank has branches in Managua’s metropolitan area, as well as national coverage.
Scope Objective: 
The project consists of a senior loan of up to US$4,000,000 and a subordinated loan of up to US$2,000,000 to Banco de Crédito Centroamericano-Bancentro. The senior loan will have a term of up to 7 years, including a grace period of up to 2 years. The subordinated loan will have a term of up to 7 years, including a grace period of up to 63 months. The funds of the senior loan will be used to provide medium and long-term financing to small and medium-size Nicaraguan companies operating in productive sectors of the economy.
Environmental Review: 
This is a category III project according to IIC’s environmental review procedures.

Each subloan will be subjected to an environmental review and must comply with Nicaraguan environmental laws, regulations, and standards, as well as applicable policies of the IIC.
