Scope Objective:
Project Description: The Project consists of a 10-year senior loan for up to US$7 million and of a preferred equity investment for up to US$1 million. These funds will be used to finance the acquisition of low-cost housing for leasing to individuals. The lease contracts generated will be securitized once a sufficient amount of them has been accumulated. The Project also involves the development and sale of lease-backed securities, a new instrument in Chile.
