DAISA is a company that produces, collects, processes and exports roots, tubers and fruits in addition to providing services that aim to help small and medium enterprises in the area, locate a place to sell their national agricultural products (crops) and these are exported to Puerto Rico and the United States, coordinating all matters related to travel, manufacturing, documentation, management needs of any market moves in the United States and Puerto Rico as well as Central America. It also seeks to become the perfect partner you producers and professionals involved in this work. The loan will be used for buildings, machinery & equipment to refurbish and improve the packing plant as a floor and ceiling is concerned, build a water well and a cold room to maintain the quality of the product in good condition as well as the processing chain. Also, tuber washing equipment will be purchased to optimize water use, improve quality and service time to farmers and restore the biomass renewal machine to move from electrical equipment to a hydraulic system. The investment will total U.S. $ 253.000, the IIC loan will be for $ 200,000, the remaining U.S. $ 53,000 will be financed with the company's funds.
