THE CLIMATE AND CLEAN ENERGY FACILITY (CCEF)
The Climate and Clean Energy Facility (CCEF) is a $100 million financing facility for energy efficiency, self-supply renewables, and climate adaptation.
The facility is designed to originate and structure scalable energy efficiency and distributed generation projects that demonstrate innovative financing models. The facility focuses on projects with potential for strong financial returns, including increasingly economical technologies such as LEED lighting, solar power, and biomass.
THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY GUARANTEE MECHANISM (EEGM)
The EEGM is a $25 million guarantee fund designed to address the lack access to competitive financing and overall barriers energy Service Companies (ESCOs) face to providing energy efficient solutions to businesses.
It aims to overcome financial and technical barriers for Brazilian businesses to adopt energy efficiency measures by focuses on energy efficient projects with potential to achieve high carbon-emission savings and high financial returns.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND SELF-SUPPLY RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAM (PEEERA)
PEEERA is a program established in the framework of the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) program in Chile. It aims to support development and demonstration effects of various financing modalities, relatively small in nature, that can reach and/or aggregate a large number of energy efficiency and self-supply renewable energy investments.
CLIMATE SMART AGRICULTURE
The IIC and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) have established the Climate-Smart Agriculture Fund to catalyze private sector investments in sustainable agriculture, forestry and rangeland systems in the face of climate change. In this way, the IIC can assist companies overcome challenges by providing long-term financing options for climate-smart agriculture investments.
