Fellowships

The main purpose of the Fellowship Program is to allow the IIC to capitalize on the knowledge and skills of junior professionals and offer recent graduates an opportunity to acquire, expand, and apply their education and practical knowledge while gaining work experience in relevant areas for their current academic and professional pursuits from within a multilateral financial institution. The program is designed to offer fellowship contracts ranging in length from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 24 months, divided into periods of up to 12 months.

Internships

The IIC may offer internship contracts to students working toward university degrees or enrolled in other post-secondary education programs in fields related to the Corporation’s own activities. The length of internships can range from a minimum of six weeks up to a maximum of four months.

Freelance Translators

The IIC Translations Area provides in-house translation and editing services in the Corporation’s four official languages (English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese) and other languages as required. The translations area maintains a roster of freelance translators who have passed a blind-graded translation exam and signed an open-ended service and confidentiality agreement.
